The Plan:
Each year, aggregations of basking sharks migrate down the West coast of Scotland. Attracted by the plankton rich waters of the Inner Hebrides, the sharks are frequently seen from May to September. The best time of year to interact with these gentle giants is early June through to late August. Our vessel for our week is the über comfortable Bold Ranger. A Nelson 42ft motor cruiser, captained by one of Scotalnd’s most experienced skippers. The Isle of Mull has earned an enviable reputation as a premier wildlife tourism destination in the UK, and we’ll be staying right in the heart in the picturesque town of Tobermoray.
